FoodServ has an in-house specialist technical department headed by some leading experts in the various food service fields. With an uncompromising approach to quality, all our service technicians are qualified and trained to execute diagnostic evaluation and repair fitment according to the highest standards and international best practices.

With a strategically positioned network of service technicians and fully qualified subcontractors who are dedicated to service our clients across Southern Africa and into neighboring countries. Ensuring rapid turnaround and minimal disruption to our clients’ operations, we stock a full range of spares with guaranteed original parts of all the equipment we supply.

SERVICE AND ASSESMENT INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

Preparation for maintenance:

> Service data and HACCP data are saved on the USB stick

> Current software available on the unit

> No service errors or gas errors in the service history

Maintenance for unit door:

> Unit door and door glass as well as door settings OK

> Door seals and possibly mobile oven rack seal undamaged

Examination of the cooking cabinet:

> All cooking cabinet components undamaged, correctly installed and operational

Maintenance of the water connection/drain:

> No fat/no pollution in the waste water connection

> Complete water distribution tight, water inlet filter clean and valves operational

> All pumps and add-on components operational and tight

> Control box with all components operational and clean

Maintenance of the steam generator:

> Steam generator and all associated components operational

> Steam generator steam hose to the cooking cabinet and pump-off hose are operational and tight

Maintenance of the electrical system:

> Electrical wiring fault-free (terminals tight and no damaged insulation)

> Steam and convection heating operational

> Enter the maximum board temperature in the comments field

Maintenance of the control panel:

> Control panel operational and tight

> All control panels without damage and operational

Maintenance of the exhaust hood/UltraVent:

> All fat filters installed and clean

> Enter the clearance between the top edge of the unit and the bottom edge of the exhaust hood/top panel in the comments field

Maintenance of the rollers and wheels:

> All rollers and wheels of the stand, the mobile oven racks or the Combi-Duo are securely tightened and without damage.

Instructions for unit care:

> Instructions for the iCare System

Instructions for housing maintenance:

> Explain replacement of filter and door seal.

> Descaling of the steam control nozzle

Checking electrical safety:

Electrical safety (leakage current, insulation and earthing) tested in accordance with local standards and legal regulations.

Warning gas components:

Gas components/gas connections tight and operational

External gas interlock system operational and tested

> Flue gas test carried out and values within the permitted range



Price includes Vat and call out charges to Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, and East London (Regions not mentioned will be charged additional fees)

Please Note: The service and assessment includes a complete checklist on findings with recommendations. Parts needed based on assessment findings are excluded, a quotation will be provided.

  • Breakdown / call outs that are not scheduled as per contract
  • All spares and consumables not included as per contract agreement

  • This is an all-inclusive preventative maintenance agreement with added benefits for your equipment.

Benefits of this RMA:

  • All service / breakdowns are included in this agreement
  • Spares are included in this agreement
Period of Contract:
  • 12-months contract / up to 3 years
Terms of Contract:
  • A site inspection is needed to evaluate the condition and status of your equipment prior to this agreement
Exclusions of Contract:
  • Consumables
